Northern Europe's first and largest

Get Recruited

What is Get Recruited?

Get Recruited started in 2020 during the most uncertain period of the COVID 19 pandemic – Not only did we believe Northern Europe was already grossly under-recruited but wanted to find a creative way to help players gain exposure to college basketball programs in America. Our aim is to host the best youth basketball talent in Northern Europe, and live-stream a U.S. style exposure event where players are tested, drilled, and compete against each other to showcase their talents. With basketball rapidly growing in this part of the world and our vast network of college coaches on both the men and women’s sides, Get Recruited has become an item of interest for recruiters. If/when those coaches become interested in players, they are able to utilize us to learn more about those players and eventually begin recruiting them.

In addition to the showcase itself, we also provide a growing digital platform for the players who participate. We use social media and contacts within our network to share and promote film, highlights, evaluations, and other information on players who want to play college basketball. Becoming an elite-level player in your country is something that should be celebrated and shared, and we intend to put the spotlight on players who deserve it.

Get Recruited is the first and only legitimate college showcase in Northern Europe, boasting digital attendance of over 100 college programs last May. Our staff has members who have either played and/or coached at high levels both in the US and Europe—in short, you can be sure that college coaches trust our evaluations and take our showcase seriously. If playing college basketball is your dream, take control of your path and Get Recruited!

“Thanks to SGR, I have received even more attention from several D1 schools. Not only does it end there, but SGR has also helped me get the attention of national team coaches. This led to me being admitted to the Swedish U18 national team and getting a chance to play the National Championships in Finland.”

"SGR helped my recruitment a lot. Both in the sense as I got to compare myself with other top players here in Sweden to both see how I compete against them but also to see what areas I need to improve. It was also a great way to show coaches how I play against high level competition. The event reached out to coaches for me aswell and helped me build new connections both on the college scene and the postgrad/highschool scene."

“I am really grateful to experience going to college, thanks to Sweden Get Recruited. After the camp, I was contacted by several different schools and decided to go to Capilano University. Finally, something like this has come to Sweden. It has and will give more young people the chance to go to college.”
